About Constructed Pathways

Our Vision

"To enable a sustainable pipeline of skilled people that accelerates the growth of industry and supports communities for generations to come"

Our Consortium

By focussing our combined experience, expertise and stakeholder network in the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire area, we bring together industry partners, education providers, combined local authorities, local and national government to unlock the resources that will enable our vision.

Our Approach

A unified approach, guided by a team of industry experts, to deliver industry-leading construction skills development for Cambridgeshire, bringing stability and predictability to the supply chain and the people who support it.

The Challenge

The critical Global Skills Gap is impacting virtually every Industry, and the Construction Industry is not immune to this challenge. With an estimated skills shortage of circa 250,000 people required over the next 10 years', achieving the Governments target of building 1.5m low carbon, new homes, is under threat.

At Constructed Pathways, we believe the answer lays in bringing together the right people, at the right time to collaborate and bring new and creative ideas that ensure we overcome these barriers to growth

There is an estimated construction skills shortage of circa 250,000 people required over next ten years. A major barrier to increasing the number of tradespeople entering the industry is the small number of trainers and assessors operating in further education, limiting the number of students’ providers could recruit.
